Dr Ajee Danladi Mamman is Technical Director at Firmlink International Ltd, Aberdeen, Scotland.

Dr Mamman has a strong aptitude for the application of science and technology in solving wide-ranging problems of economic, social and environmental importance. He is passionate about transforming natural resources into high-end products through value addition. He has in-depth knowledge of energy conversion technologies, oil and gas production facilities, operations, and processes; as well as oil refinery processes, having worked in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Dr Mamman has a PhD (1998) in Chemical Technology from the University of Strathclyde Glasgow, Specialising in Applied Electrochemistry (Fuel Cells, Batteries, Corrosion, Electrolysis). In 2000, Dr Mamman moved back to Aberdeen where he previously began his career in the oil and gas industry in 1994.
Dr Mamman has attended many specialised courses on oil and gas, including Drilling and Completion, Production, as well as International Oil & Gas Law & Contracts. More recently, Dr Mamman completed a post-graduate programme (2022) in Renewable Energy (Energy Conversion and Storage) at the University of Aberdeen.
Dr Mamman has a wide range of skills and experience in industry, academia and management acquired over a period of 35 years that have uniquely equipped him to provide effective solutions and professional advice. In collaboration with PWC, Dr Mamman has facilitated trainings, workshops and seminars on oil and gas value chain, fiscal regimes, and taxation for clients in East Africa.
Dr Mamman has also provided advisory services to the government of Uganda on maximizing the value chain of their oil and gas resource. Dr Mamman believes in given back to his country, Nigeria. Since 2008, Dr Mamman has been a post-graduate visiting lecturer to the University of Port Harcourt’s Institute of Petroleum Studies (IPS as well as the Centre for Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals.
