Ambassador Abdulkadir Bin Rimdap is a retired career Ambassador, who hails from Langtang in Plateau State. He holds a Masters Degree in Economics.
He served at home and abroad mostly in the International Organizations Department. He was a member of the Adhoc Committee on the Right to Development of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva. He served as High Commissioner of Nigeria in Zambia and Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Nigeria in Vienna, Austria. He also served as Nigeria’s Ambassador in Germany, where he retired in 2010.
He was appointed as the Chairperson of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization and Chairperson of Working Group A in Vienna from 2003 – 2010. He has authored his memoir titled “Confidence in Diplomacy: Defending Nigeria at Home and Abroad.
