Mr Joseph Olugbenga Dada, mni, holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Resource Management from Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria, and a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria. He is also an alumnus of the Nigeria Institute of Administration, where he earned a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Management, and the AUSCHRIS Computers Training Institute, Kaduna, where he obtained a Diploma in Data Processing and Programming.
He is also an alumnus of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, Jos, Nigeria, specialising in Strategy and Policy Management (SEC 43).
Over the last two decades, Mr Dada has served as a Lead Consultant and Trainer for national, sub-national, regional, and bilateral institutions as well as multi-lateral organisations.
He worked at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), Lagos, where he was the Head of the Management Consultancy Department. Previously, he served as the Head of the Computer and Information Management Department and the Head of the Planning, Research, and Publication Department. He also held the position of Principal Administration Officer at Churchgate Group Nigeria Limited in Lagos and worked as the Assistant Marketing/Training Manager at MATTON Computers Limited, Lagos.
Mr Dada specialises in Management Training, Management Consultancy, Proposal Writing, Development Management, Project Management, Programme Monitoring and Evaluation, Economic Management, Environmental Management, Gender Mainstreaming, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Applications. He possesses strong skills in Communication, Teamwork, Leadership, Critical Thinking, problem-solving, Decision-Making Techniques, and Time Management.
He has been a Guest Speaker at various events, including the Lagos State Public Service Week, the Rotary Club, and the Apostolic Church Nigeria (Badagry Area Youth Movement). Mr Dada has contributed to several academic journals and books and has delivered over 30 peer-reviewed papers at both local and international forums.
His passion for the public sector has driven him to a career as a management consultant, where he manages human resource processes and policies while actively participating in human resource and organisational development.
Currently, Mr Dada serves as the Deputy President of the African Association of Public Administration and Management (AAPAM). Before this role, he was the Vice President for West Africa and has been a Council Member for over two decades.
Mr Dada is originally from Kogi State and resides in Nigeria.
