Mr. Sidney S. Oghenekevwe AKAPHIARE

Mr. Sidney Akaphiare holds a HND in Fine Arts from the Auchi Polytechnic, now Federal University of Technology, Auchi, Nigeria. He also holds a PgD in Journalism, Advance Certificate in Printing and Publishing, Diploma in Leadership and Ministry, and Certificate in Advertising and Public Relations.

He is a multi-talented creative artist, journalist, branding and corporate strategist, gospeller and motivator.

He is the Managing Partner of Colours of Light Consulting, a firm dedicated to skills acquisition training, youth mentorship, Visual Art exhibitions, Artworks procurement & Advisory, Think-tank, seminars and conferences.

Mr. Sidney Akaphiare has over three decades of experience in cognate professional practice in the corporate industry, he functioned as Visual artist and illustrator, Production Manager, Art Director, Managing/Creative Director, Sike Meridian Production and Art Editor. He was also the Pioneer Editor, Professional Impressions Magazine, and Pioneer Art Director/Editor, The Health International Magazine.

He has managed for advertising and marketing communications agencies, the print production accounts of top multinational brands in Nigeria including Motorola, MTN, Achilles, Indomie (DUFIL), Guinness, Sykes Energy Projects Ltd, and, Industrial Petroleum and Energy Services Ltd, IPES.

He is a Fellow of Society of Nigerian Artists, SNA; Ass. member, Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ; Member, Association of Professional Printers of Nigeria APPN; Ass. member of Nigerian Institute of Management, Chartered.

Mr. Sidney Akaphiare has participated in many groups art and photography exhibitions. A prolific writer and poet, he is published in several Nigeria’s major newspapers, journals and online news media.
