Welcome to The Nigerian Global Roundtable (NGR)

The Nigerian Global Roundtable (NGR) is a Think-Tank aimed at pursuing good governance and accountability and facilitating the economic empowerment and overall development of Nigeria and Africa at large. The Think & Do Roundtable is also a registered NGO, legally registered in Vienna, Austria. Seated at the Roundtable are noble and distinguished Nigerian professionals from all walks of life from across the world – both at home and in the Diaspora.

 

Aims - What we do

The Nigerian Global Roundtable (NGR) was created to advance and consolidate knowledge, free from discrimination of all kinds and to promote matters relating to Africa and Nigeria in particular. It is open to all nationals who are willing to work together and abide by its rules. It engages in topical debates on issues relating to Nigeria in particular and Africa in general. Given the enormous Know-How in the NGR, we offer all kinds of services.

Dr. Charles Chike CHIEMEKE

Charles Chike Chiemeke holds a PhD in Economics from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and has extensive private-sector experience, mainly with companies offering consulting services in the financial sector in Germany.

Dr. Chiemeke is currently a Principal Manager at the Central Bank of Nigeria and the head of a unit of the Monetary Policy Implementation Committee of the Bank. Previously, he worked as Assistant Professor of Economics at the American University of Kuwait and as an assistant professor of Economics and Finance at the Maastricht School of Management MBA outreach program in Kuwait, teaching Economics and Financial Resources Management courses to both MBA and Pre-MBA students.

He has worked for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as a consultant and was engaged in a survey undertaken by the organization to establish the level of interest of foreign investors in making investments in the Sub-Saharan African region and their requirements (in terms of both market conditions and business environment) for undertaking such investment.

Dr. Chike Chiemeke lives and works in Abuja and Vienna.
